Fallen Nut

After months of talking about it, the Coconut Tree lost a nut last week… Glenbo, one of the founding Loose Ones, has decided to call it a day.

During his time at the company, Glenbo was instrumental in producing some of our favourite books and images.

Glenbo has always seen himself as something of a Gypsie at heart – a free spirit, unable to spend any considerable time in one place for more than 3 years at a stretch. That he was with the company for about 6 is an accomplishment in itself!

While he’s told us that his passion for books has waned a little, we’re sure that it won’t be too long before he discovers an appealing subject to dive into again.

And for us – it’s on with the show! There’s no let up, with the Loose Nuts! We’ve got quite a few exciting projects lined up that you’ll be hearing about in the months to come.

We’re still going to be called Three Loose Coconuts. For one, its a great name – and besides that, one less coconut wouldn’t sound PG-rated! Also, Rob has a son who’s still young enough to aspire to do what his Dad does.
